Morya Beverages

Morya Beverages is situated at Karav, right by the Post in the Vangani area. Vangani has a much slower pace of life than the big cities, and we have grown to appreciate that. We are tucked away in Karav, which is a small community where everyone tends to know what their neighbors are up to. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular concrete structure where we mix and bottle our beverages. The sweet smell of the ingredients often drifts out into the street when we are in the middle of a big production run. We start our mornings quite early, often before the post office next door even opens up for the day. The local trains are a big part of life in this region, and we usually hear them whistling in the distance all throughout the day. We don't use any corporate jargon or have long, boring meetings here. We just talk over our morning tea about what needs to be bottled and who is going to handle the deliveries to the local village shops. It’s a very manual process and our hands are usually busy from the start of the day to the finish. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather is boiling hot and the machinery starts to act up. Daily life is about solving those small problems and moving on. We don't have a fancy website or a big advertising plan. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here in Karav for a while and people know who we are. It’s a decent way to live and work.
