M N Dastur Co Pvt Ltd has an office at 4 Jayshreesidhivinayak Soc in Shivaji Nagar. This is in Naupada, Thane W. Being in Thane, we are right in the middle of a very busy area. The society is a mix of residential and small offices like ours. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, but it keeps us fit I guess. We have a small team here handling the local operations. It’s not a very flashy office. We have some old desks and chairs that have been with us for a long time. We don't see the need to change things if they still work. The Shivaji Nagar area is always loud with the sound of traffic and people, but once you step inside the office, it’s fairly quiet. We get our work done without much fuss. We don't have any big slogans on the walls. Most of us just want to do a good job and get home to our families in time for dinner. The commute in Thane can be pretty rough, so we try to be flexible with each other. We drink a lot of chai during the day to keep ourselves going.
