Over here in Ambernath East, we are located in the Anand Vihar building, specifically in room A 201. It’s right on B Cabin Road near Bhawani Chowk, which is a pretty well-known landmark for anyone living around this part of Thane. The office is inside a residential-style building, so it feels very much like a part of the community rather than a cold office park. We’ve got a small team here at M N Dastur Co. Every morning we walk up the stairs, unlock the door, and get the fans going. It’s a simple setup. We’ve got our desks pushed together and a few cabinets for all the project files we accumulate. The view from the window is just the street below, which stays pretty busy with people going to and from the station. We spend our days mostly on the phones or working through data on our screens. It's not the kind of place where you'll find people in suits every day. We dress for the weather and the work. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several things happen at once, but we manage to get through it. There’s a certain rhythm to working in Ambernath. You get to know the shopkeepers nearby and the guys at the tea stall. It’s a humble place, just a local office trying to do a good job for the people who rely on us for help with their technical projects.
