We have been working out of this spot at Plot No. D-201 in MIDC, Turbhe for a good while now. If you’ve ever been to this part of Navi Mumbai, you know how industrial it feels. It’s all warehouses and big trucks moving around constantly. Our place, Laxmi Herbs And Spices Private Limited, is pretty much right in the middle of all that action. Most days start early with the smell of different spices filling up the air as soon as the shutters go up. It’s a strong scent, and honestly, you get used to it after a few days, though visitors always mention it. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just handle the herbs and spices, making sure the bags are stacked right and the inventory matches what the computer says. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the nature of the work, so someone is always sweeping. Lunch is usually just tiffins we bring from home, sitting around the small table in the corner. The afternoon heat in Turbhe can be quite something, especially under the tin roofs of these industrial plots, so we keep the fans running at full speed. It’s a simple routine of unloading, checking, and then loading things back up for delivery. We don’t have any big corporate meetings or anything like that. Just regular work with regular people trying to get through the day's list. That is pretty much the daily life for us here.
