If you walk into Japani Bazar, you will eventually find us at Shop No. 912. It’s a very busy market area with shops everywhere. They sell all kinds of things on this street. At Laxmi Crockery Store, we have our shelves full of items. Japani Bazar is the kind of place where you have to watch where you’re walking. It gets very crowded, especially on the weekends. Our shop is small but we fit a lot of stuff into the space we have. We’ve been here for a good while now. We know the other shopkeepers around us by name. It’s a friendly enough place to spend the day. People come in looking for things for their kitchens or gifts. We don't do any big promotions or advertising. We just open the shop in the morning and wait for whoever comes by. Shop No. 912 is just a number, but it’s like a second home to us. The name Laxmi Crockery Store is painted on the front of the shop. Sometimes it’s hard to see the sign with all the people passing by. Japani Bazar has its own loud character. It’s always noisy and colorful. We spend most of our day sitting inside or helping a customer find a specific plate. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our life. We like being in the middle of the market. There is always someone new to talk to. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the shop.
