Jerevin Farms Llp is out at Survey Number 108/5 in Patelpada, Malyan. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but that’s where the land is. We spend most of our time outdoors or in the small shed we use for an office. There’s not much in the way of air conditioning or fancy furniture. We’ve got some plastic chairs and a table that’s seen better days. The work is mostly physical. We’re dealing with the ground, the plants, and the weather. Some days the rain makes the roads in Malyan a mess, but we still have to get things done. We started this farm business because it’s what we know how to do. It’s not about being the biggest; it’s just about doing a job that feels useful. We have a few locals who help us out when things get busy. There’s always something needing repair, like a fence or a pump. We don't use big words or have complicated meetings. We just talk about what needs to be planted or moved. The sun sets early out here, and that’s usually when we wrap up. It’s a quiet life, mostly. We aren't looking for fame, just a good harvest and a way to keep the place running.
