Greenspring Broilers Private Limited

Down here in Airoli, things get pretty busy with all the traffic, but we’ve got our little spot at Ashwamedh Co Op Housing Society. It’s actually flat number 10, over on plot 52 in sector 4. Being in Navi Mumbai means it’s always humid, and that definitely affects how we handle the broiler chickens. We started Greenspring Broilers Private Limited just to have a solid business of our own. Mostly, our days are spent checking on the birds and making sure the feed is right. It’s not a glamorous job, honestly. There is a lot of dust and the noise from the birds can get a bit loud sometimes when they’re hungry. My cousin helps out with the records because there is so much paperwork these days. We don't have a big fancy warehouse or anything like that. We just operate out of this space and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the Thane traffic jams, which is a real headache for us. We just try to get the broilers out to the local markets while they are fresh. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting crates and cleaning up, but it keeps us busy. We don’t really do any big ads or anything. People around here just know us. It’s a simple setup, nothing too crazy or corporate. We’re just trying to make a living in the poultry business like everyone else in this sector.
