You can find us at Neel Lake View, specifically in Flat 301 on Plot 20 in Section 06. We are a small biotech team, and our work mostly revolves around water and biological stuff. The building looks out over the lake, which is a nice thing to see when you’re tired of looking at a computer screen. We aren't a big lab with hundreds of people. It’s just a few of us in a regular apartment that we’ve turned into a workspace. We have some equipment set up, and we spend a lot of time checking samples and reading data. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we are doing with all the boxes coming in and out. It’s not very glamorous work. There are a lot of long hours spent waiting for results or trying to figure out why a test didn’t go the way we expected. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the slow parts. The balcony is where we go to get some air when the room feels too small. We chose this spot because it’s quiet enough to focus. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the science and the water. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the files and gear, but we’ve gotten used to the layout. We just want to get the work done right without any fuss or making things more complicated than they need to be.
