Fizzy

Fizzy is tucked away on Central Street in Kandivali East. We are at Shop No D22 in the Om Gukul Nagari C building. I started this because I wanted something straightforward to do with my time. It is a small space, mostly just enough for the equipment and a little room to stand behind the counter. Central Street gets quite noisy during the day so we are used to the sound of traffic while we work. I usually get here early to open up the shutters and get things wiped down. We do not have a big team, just me and someone else helping out most days. The neighborhood is mostly families and people walking to the station. We see the same faces every morning which is nice for a change. Sometimes the fridge acts up a bit and we have to give it a kick to keep it running, but it keeps everything cold enough. It is not like those big chains you see in the malls. We just serve what we have on the menu and keep it moving. The lighting is a bit dim inside but people do not seem to mind much. We keep the counters as clean as we can. It is a simple life running a shop like this. We don't have any big plans to expand or anything like that. We just want to stay open and keep the locals coming in for their drinks.
