Running Fairfone Computer Services out of Rai Enclave Apartment keeps us pretty busy. We are located right on Poona Link Road in the Kutemanivali area. It is a handy spot for us. Most of the time, we are dealing with computer issues that people bring in or call us about. It’s a small operation here in room 403. We have stacks of parts and tools everywhere, which probably looks a bit messy if you aren't used to it. But we know where everything is. The traffic on the link road can get pretty loud during the day, but we've mostly stopped noticing it. We handle all sorts of computer stuff, from hardware fixes to software problems that won't go away. We don't have a big front desk or anything fancy. You just come up to the apartment and we talk about what's wrong with your machine. It’s a very direct way of working. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the locals around Kutemanivali. Working from an apartment means we don't have that cold office feel. It's more relaxed, though it can get hectic when three or four people need things fixed at once. We usually have a radio playing in the background while we work on motherboards or clear out viruses. It’s a living, really. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get the computers back to their owners as fast as the parts arrive.
