Cafe Coffee Day

This Cafe Coffee Day is tucked away in Kandivali East, specifically at 12th Cross in Bendre Nagar. We are in Shop No 1/2 on the ground floor of the Vas building. It’s a bit of a corner spot near the Kadirenahalli area. The address is a little long, but once you find the 12th Cross, we’re right there. We have been running this shop for a while now. It’s got those big glass windows that let you see everyone walking by on their way to work or school. The tile floor is a bit worn in the spots where people stand to wait, which I guess shows how much foot traffic we get. We have a few staff members who live nearby, so they don't have to travel far to get here for the early shifts. The air conditioning works most of the time, though it struggles a bit in the middle of May. We don't do much in the way of fancy talk. It’s just a place with some chairs and tables where you can sit down for a bit. We spend a lot of time wiping down the counters and making sure the sugar packets are refilled. Sometimes the music we play is just whatever the person behind the counter likes that day. It’s a regular part of life here in Bendre Nagar. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to keep the shop open and the lights on for the neighborhood.
