Saundariya Beauty Parlour

I started Saundariya Beauty Parlour in Diva a while ago. We are at Shop-4 in Janabai Apartment. It is on Mumbradevi Colony Road, right opposite Vasant Apartment. It’s a good location because a lot of ladies live nearby and can just walk over when they have a free hour. I wanted to have a place where women could come and get their eyebrows done or get a facial without having to go too far into the city. The shop is small but cozy for us. I’ve decorated it a little bit to make it feel welcoming for everyone who enters. It is just me and a couple of helpers sometimes when it gets busy. We do all the basics like waxing, threading, and hair styling. It’s usually quite talkative inside the shop. Ladies come in and we chat about our families or what’s happening in Diva lately. It feels more like a community spot than just a business. Being across from Vasant Apartment helps people find us easily. We get a lot of brides during the wedding season, which makes things very busy and a bit hectic, but we manage to get through it. I keep the tools clean and the atmosphere relaxed. I don’t use any fancy talk to describe what we do. It is just a local parlour for local people. We try to keep our prices fair so everyone can afford it. It is hard work being on your feet all day, but seeing someone smile makes it okay.
