Suresh Gens Parlour

You’ll find Suresh Gens Parlour at Shop No-3 on B Cabin Road in Ambernath. We are quite close to the Axis Bank, which is a big help when I’m telling people how to find the shop. It’s a small gents parlour where I’ve been cutting hair for a good long time now. I have a couple of chairs and the basic tools of the trade like scissors and combs. I like being in Ambernath because it’s a place where people still take the time to talk to each other. Most of my customers are local men who just want a decent haircut or a clean shave before they go about their day. I don’t do anything too crazy with the styles, just what people ask for. The shop is simple and easy to maintain. I have some mirrors and a small bench for those waiting for their turn. I keep a few magazines around, but mostly people just chat with me or each other while they wait. Being near the bank means there’s always people walking by on the sidewalk. Sometimes someone will pop in for a quick trim on their way home from work in the evening. I try to keep the place tidy, but when it’s a busy Saturday, there’s usually some hair on the floor until I can get a second to sweep it up. It’s just me working here most of the time. I take pride in what I do, even if it is just a simple haircut for a neighbor.
