Laila Manzil is the place where I spend the majority of my time. It is located in Gopalapetta, right near the Temple Gate in Tellicherry. My name is Zahir Mohammed and this is where I have set up my small business. The building itself has a lot of character and feels like it has been part of the neighborhood for a long time. Tellicherry is a town with a lot of history, and being so close to the P.O. means we are right in the middle of everything. The pin code here is 670102. I do not have a large staff or a lot of expensive equipment. It is a very small and practical operation. I usually get here early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool and fresh. The temple nearby gives the whole area a very specific feeling, especially when the morning prayers are happening. I really enjoy the daily routine. We are not looking to become a giant company. We just want to do a good job for the people who come to see us. The space inside Laila Manzil is very simple, with just a few chairs and some files. It is a local spot for local needs. Sometimes the monsoon rain hits the roof so hard it gets very loud, but we just keep working through it. It is a good, quiet life here by the gate.
