Started working from the Poyyayil House in Pinarayi a while ago now. Thalassery is a good place to be based, especially since this is where the family has been for years. It is not some big office building with glass windows, just a regular spot in the village where I handle things. I go by Lijesh K and people around here usually know where to find me if they need something. The post office is close, which is handy for sending stuff out. It’s quiet most days, except when there is a festival or something going on nearby. I didn't want to move to the big city because everything I need is right here in Kannur. The house is part of who I am and how I work. Sometimes people stop by just to talk or ask about a project I am finishing up. It gets a bit humid in the summer, but we manage. I keep the workspace simple. There is no receptionist or anything fancy like that. If you call, you just talk to me directly. I like it that way because things don't get mixed up. I try to stay busy but I also take my tea breaks. It's a small life but it’s mine. I’ve put in a lot of hours at this desk over the years. Pinarayi is home and it is where I plan to stay for a long time yet. It is 670741 for the mail, Kerala State. I am glad to be here.
