Seven Star & Blue Star Stone Industries

Out here on C.C.I. Road in Hassan Nagar, things are usually pretty busy with all the stone moving around. Our place is at Plot Number 15/2, and it’s right in the thick of the R.R. District. We have the two names, Seven Star and Blue Star, but it’s all the same group of us working together every day. The road gets quite dusty because of all the trucks coming and going, but that is just part of being in the stone industry, anyway. It’s hard work, and your hands never really stay clean for long. We spend most of our time out in the yard or near the machinery. Hassan Nagar is a decent area for this kind of business, even if it’s a bit out of the way for some. People find us well enough though. The yard is usually full of slabs and pieces that need to be sorted or sent out. It’s not a quiet job, there’s always the sound of something being moved or cut. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a small office area where we keep the logs and talk to the drivers. Most of the guys have been here for a while, so we know how to handle the heavy stuff without too much fuss. Every morning starts about the same, checking what came in and what needs to go out to the next spot. It’s just how things go for us.
