Harika Stone & Co.

Harika Stone & Co. is located on Kokat Road. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the big city markets, but we stay busy enough. We deal with all kinds of stone here. The yard isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. Most of our days are spent checking the inventory and making sure the pieces stay in good shape. Kokat Road has its own pace, and we’ve become a part of the local scenery over the years. We get locals walking in and some regulars who have known us for a long time. It’s not a high-tech operation. We use our hands and a few old machines to move the heavier stuff around. You can usually find us covered in a bit of stone dust by noon. That’s just the nature of the work. People ask a lot of questions about how the stone holds up in the sun or rain, and we just tell them what we’ve seen over the years. We aren't trying to sell anyone on anything they don't need. If a piece of stone has a crack or a weird spot, we point it out. It’s better that way. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, making the polished surfaces shine, which is probably the nicest part of the day. We just keep things moving and make sure the deliveries go out when they’re supposed to. We’re just a small crew working on Kokat Road and doing our thing.
