Malik Stone Industry

Malik Stone Industry is located in Shantinagar Colony, which is part of the Indira Nagar area. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads, but we still stay very busy. We have been cutting and shaping stone here for quite a few years. When we first started, there weren't as many houses around, but now the colony has grown up all around us. We try to keep the noise down as much as we can so we don't bother the neighbors too much. Our setup is pretty basic. We have the cutting area and a small space where we keep the finished pieces. It is just a few of us working here. We don't have a big corporate structure or managers telling us what to do. We just know what needs to be finished by the end of the week and we get it done. Sometimes people from the neighborhood stop by just to chat or see what we are working on. We don't do any big advertising because word of mouth in the colony usually brings us enough work. It is an honest living and we enjoy being part of this community. The work is dirty and we are usually tired by the time evening rolls around. We just focus on doing a decent job for the local builders who rely on us. It is a simple life and a simple business that keeps us going year after year.
