Sriram Chandran

I stay and work at number 25 on 16th Cross in Muthaya Nagar. My name is Sriram Chandran and this is where I’ve been for quite some time now. The street is usually busy with people going about their business. My house is easy to spot because of the old gate that squeaks every time someone opens it. I have a small room set aside for my work. It’s filled with papers, books, and my old computer. It’s not a high-tech office, but it gets the job done. I spend most of my mornings sorting through what needs to be finished that day. Sometimes I get distracted by the sounds of the street vendors outside. Muthaya Nagar is a place where everyone seems to know each other. I often step out for a break and end up talking to a neighbor for twenty minutes. It’s that kind of neighborhood. The work I do is fairly steady. I don't have a lot of helpers, so I do most things myself. This means sometimes things take a little longer, but I prefer it that way. I like knowing exactly where everything is, even if the filing system is just me remembering which pile a letter is in. It’s a simple life here on 16th Cross. I don’t need anything fancy to stay busy and keep things moving forward. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for me and I try to stick to it as best as I can.
