Allastir

Allastir is out in Plot No 12 of the Sidco Industrial Estate in Manali New Town. Being in an industrial area like Vichoor means it is never really quiet around here. There is always the sound of a truck idling or some machinery humming in the distance from a neighbor’s yard. Our building is a solid, functional place that was built for work, not for looking pretty. The floors are concrete and there is always a bit of dust that comes in from the estate roads no matter how much we sweep it up. Inside, we have our equipment set up and the staff are usually wearing heavy boots and work clothes. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze we can get. We deal with a lot of heavy items, so there is a lot of lifting and moving things around with pallets throughout the day. It is a straightforward environment where everyone knows what their job is without being told twice. We do not spend time on long meetings or fancy presentations with slides. Most of our communication happens over the noise of the shop floor while we are working. People come to us because they know we are right here in the heart of the industrial zone. It is a bit of a gritty place, and your hands will definitely get dirty if you stay too long.
