Sag Enterprises

Sag Enterprises is located at 1/628, Vengai Vasal, in the Veerabathra Nagar area of Medavakkam. It’s a bit of a residential and commercial mix around here, so we try to keep our noise levels down so we don't bother the neighbors too much. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way, which makes it easier to manage everything. We mostly handle supply and distribution, though we do some small-scale assembly when it’s required. The space is basically a large garage that we converted into a workspace. It’s tight, but we’ve organized the shelves so we can find everything we need. My wife helps with the accounts and I handle the orders and deliveries. We don't have a big staff, just two or three local boys who help out during the busy season. Traffic in Medavakkam can be a nightmare, so we have to plan our delivery routes very carefully to avoid getting stuck for hours. We don't use any slick marketing or have a polished sales pitch. We just tell people what we have and when we can get it to them. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it has kept us going for years. Sometimes we run out of stock faster than expected, and we have to scramble to get more. It keeps us on our toes. We’re just regular people working hard in our little corner of the city.
