Our office for Bavista Software India Pvt. Ltd. is located at A121 in the Golden Garden section of the Tata New Haven Ribbonwalk complex in Mambakkam, Chennai. It’s a little unusual for a software company to be based inside a residential development, but we find that it works for us. A small group of us sits here and writes code all day long. Since Chennai gets incredibly hot, we spend a lot of time making sure the air conditioning is running right. It isn't a huge, fancy office with a cafeteria or game rooms. It is mostly just desks, big monitors, and a tangle of charging cables. We work on different software projects for clients who have been with us for a long time. The vibe in the office is pretty laid back, and nobody wears a suit. Most days you’ll find us in jeans and t-shirts, staring at screens and trying to figure out why a particular bug is causing trouble. Being in Mambakkam means we are away from the main IT parks, so it is a bit more peaceful here. We don't do those big corporate "about us" pages or try to sound like we are changing the world. We are just a team of developers who like solving problems with computers. We drink a lot of coffee and sometimes stay late to hit a deadline, but that is just the job.
