We started S S Technology a few years back because we saw everyone in Chromepet needed someone local to help with their gadgets. Our place is over at 19, Periyar Nagar, right on 6th Street. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads, but we stay busy. Usually, people just drop by when something stops working. Maybe a screen is cracked or a laptop won't boot up. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a big reception desk. It's just a workspace with tools and parts scattered around. Most days, I’m here early to get through the pile of repairs before lunch. Chromepet has changed a lot, but this street stays pretty much the same. We know the neighbors, and they know where to find us. Sometimes the power goes out, or it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is. We try to get things back to people as quick as we can. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us working on circuits and software. We like being tucked away on 6th Street. It makes things feel more personal. If you're walking down Periyar Nagar, you'll see our sign. Nothing flashy, just the name. We focus on the work itself rather than making the shop look like a showroom. It gets a bit messy with all the wires, but we know where everything is. That's our daily life here.
