Maya Technologies

Over at 39 Poonthandalam in Kundrathur, you’ll find the Maya Technologies office. It’s a bit of a drive out from the center of Chennai, which actually makes it a bit quieter than you’d expect. The 600069 area has its own pace. Our office is a simple building that serves its purpose. We have our computers set up and a few workbenches for when we need to take things apart or put them together. It’s not a high-tech looking lab from a movie. It’s more like a workshop with some monitors and a lot of tangled cables. We try to keep things organized, but when we get busy, the place ends up looking pretty lived-in. There’s a small porch out front where we sometimes sit for five minutes to get some air. The Chennai heat can be tough, so we rely heavily on the fans inside. We don't have a big sign or any fancy branding on the walls. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Most of our day is spent troubleshooting or working through projects that take a lot of concentration. We get our lunch from a local spot nearby, usually bringing it back to eat at our desks. It’s a modest way to work, but we like the independence of being out here in Kundrathur. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay productive until the sun goes down and it's time to head back home.
