Our place is on Ramaswamy Street, right in the heart of Tambaram. It’s not a huge campus, just a focused space with rooms full of computers. Chennai gets pretty hot, so we try to keep the fans going as much as we can while students are working on their assignments. You’ll find people here from early morning until late evening, mostly hunched over keyboards trying to figure out some code or learning a new software tool. The street outside is usually busy with people heading to the station or the market. We have some older computers and some newer ones, depending on which lab you are in. It’s a very practical environment. Students come here after their regular college hours or sometimes full-time if they are looking for work. The instructors are local guys who know their stuff and don’t mind explaining things twice if someone is stuck. We have a small area where students can sit and have their lunch, usually bringing tiffins from home. There’s a lot of talk about job interviews and technical tests in the hallways. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny brochures. Most people find us through word of mouth or just by seeing the sign on the street. It’s just a straightforward spot for anyone in Chennai who wants to get better at using computers for their career. It isn't anything fancy, just a room with computers.
