We are located at No. 4 in the Ambattur area. This part of town is very industrial and there are a lot of other big buildings and factories around us. It is a large facility where many people come to work every single day. The security gate is always busy with people showing their IDs and cars coming in and out of the parking lot. Inside, it’s a lot of open floors with desks and computers everywhere you look. You can hear the constant sound of typing and people talking on their headsets. The hallways are long and have those standard office carpets that have been there for quite a while. We have a canteen where everyone gathers for lunch and it gets pretty loud with all the different conversations going on at once. Most of the day is spent looking at screens or sitting in meeting rooms with whiteboards that have half-erased notes on them. We deal with a lot of technical stuff and sometimes the problems take all day to solve. Even though it is a big place, you end up seeing the same faces in the elevator or at the coffee machine. It’s a routine that involves a lot of emails and phone calls to people in different time zones. The commute to Ambattur can be a bit of a headache during peak hours, but once we are inside, we just settle into the work. It’s a massive operation but it boils down to real people getting things done.
