Genisys Software

Genisys Software is out at Thulasi Nagar, specifically Plot No 70 in New Nappalayam, Chennai. The pin code is 600 103, which is a bit of a way out for some, but it’s where we’ve set up our permanent spot. Chennai can get really hot, so the air conditioning in the office is probably the most important thing we have. The building is a simple structure on a quiet plot. Inside, it’s mostly just work stations and a lot of wires running along the walls. We don’t have fancy art or expensive coffee machines. We usually just get tea from the guy who comes around or bring it from home. Working in Nappalayam means it’s a bit quieter than the middle of T. Nagar or Adyar, which we actually prefer. The walk to the main road is short enough, and you see the local shops starting their day as we arrive. Most of our day is spent looking at software code or responding to emails. We’ve got a mix of people, some who have been here since the start and some new faces. It’s a plain, honest workspace. We don't make a big deal out of things. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head out to beat the evening traffic if we can. It’s just a normal day at Plot No 70, making sure the software runs like it is supposed to.
