Gem Computers

Our shop is in Kumaran Complex on Redhills Road. It’s quite close to the Moogambigai Complex in Kolathur. This part of the city has grown a lot over the last few years. Gem Computers has been part of that growth in our own small way. We are located at No 25/5. The complex stays busy with people coming and going for all sorts of errands. Our space is usually filled with the sound of cooling fans and the occasional beep from a motherboard. It’s not a silent office, that’s for sure. We handle all kinds of computer repairs and sales. Most of our customers are families from the nearby residential blocks or small shop owners from the same street. We’ve gotten to know a lot of the residents over time. We don’t go for the high-pressure sales tactics you see in the big malls. We’d rather just give someone a honest opinion on whether their old laptop is worth fixing or if it’s time to move on. That’s how you build trust in a place like Kolathur. The sun can get pretty hot on Redhills Road, so we’re glad for the shade the complex provides. We’re just a small group of guys who know our way around a PC. Every day brings a different set of challenges, and that keeps the work interesting. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to keep your computer running as it should.
