Elavazhagan

We are located over at 98/12, on the 12th Cross Street in the Sidco Industrial Estate in Thirumudivakkam. If you know the area, you know it's full of workshops and small factories. It’s a bit of a maze back here, especially when the trucks are trying to turn around on 14th Main Road. We’ve been operating Elavazhagan from this same spot for quite some time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the actual work to bother with that. Every morning starts with the sound of machines starting up across the street. We get inside, check the list of what needs to be finished, and just get to it. It’s hot in the afternoons, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving. We don't really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, we just talk over things while standing on the shop floor. Dealing with suppliers and making sure we have enough material is a constant job. Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, maybe a machine acts up or a delivery is late, but we figure it out. That's just part of life in an industrial estate. We know the neighbors pretty well since we've all been here for years. It's a hardworking place, and we're just one small part of it, keeping our heads down and staying busy. It gets loud sometimes, but we like it.
