Centronic Technologies

Tambaram West is a bit quieter than the main city center. We are located on Rajagopal Nagar at number 10. We work on various technology things, mostly focusing on the internal parts of machines. It’s a quiet street for the most part, which I like. We have a few wooden benches in the front where we sit sometimes when the weather is nice enough. The office inside is mostly made of workbenches and soldering irons. We don't have a reception desk or anything formal like that. If the front door is open, people just walk right in. I started this after I left my old corporate job because I wanted to be my own boss. It’s actually more work than I thought it would be, but it’s okay for now. We have a few guys who help out during the week. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting problems that don't seem to have an easy answer. It’s a lot of trial and error and patience. The neighborhood kids sometimes stop by to look at the machines through the window. We’ve become a part of the daily scenery here. We don't have a big corporate logo or a mission statement to show off. We just try to get the work done on time so we can go home to our families. It’s a very practical way to live and work. Usually we close up on Saturdays to go to the market.
