The Beyondtechit Consulting Private Limited office is at No 12 Sriram Nagar in the Parvathy Nagar Extension which is part of Old Perungalathur in Chennai. It is a bit of a journey to get here from the city center but we like that it is a bit quieter than the main roads. The office is located in a residential style building and it feels more like a house than a corporate workspace. We have a few rooms set up with computers and some basic office furniture. The Chennai heat is no joke so we have fans running in every corner and the windows are usually kept shut to keep the mosquitoes out in the evenings. We spend our days dealing with various technical issues and talking to people over the internet. There isn't much foot traffic around here so we don't get many walk-in visitors. Usually it is just the same group of us every day. We get our lunch from a local place nearby that makes good sambar and we usually eat at our desks while watching something on our phones. It is a humble setup and we are not trying to impress anyone with fancy decorations or expensive chairs. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get home before the evening traffic gets too bad on the bypass road.
