Arun Karthick

My place is located at 4/6 5Th Cross Street in Sabari Nagar, right here in Porur. My name is Arun Karthick. I’ve lived in Chennai for years, and this part of the city is where I decided to set things up. It's 600 116 if you're looking at the postal code. It’s a regular street with houses and small businesses all mixed together. I don't really go for those high-rise buildings or glass fronts. This is just a practical space. I usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot out. There’s always something that needs fixing or sorting out around here. You might see me out front sometimes. The neighborhood is okay, and we get along with the neighbors mostly. Work keeps me pretty occupied most of the time. I don't use a lot of fancy tools, just what works. People know me around the street. It’s not a big corporate operation. Just me and a couple of others keeping it moving. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for people to get here fast, but once you're on the cross street, it’s fine. I keep my desk messy but I know where everything is. That's just how I work. I have some old fans that make a lot of noise, but they keep the air moving in the afternoon heat while I finish up.
