Ambikak

I’m Ambikak and I work from my place in the TNHB Flats over in Maduravoyal. We are in Sector I, just behind the local EB office. It’s a pretty standard Chennai apartment complex, nothing fancy to look at. I’ve been here for quite some time now, and this is where I handle all my business tasks. Being near the EB office makes it easy for people to find me since everyone knows that landmark. I don't have a big corporate team or an expensive office setup. It's just a room in the flat where I keep my computer and all my records. The Chennai heat can be pretty intense in the afternoons, so I tend to do most of my heavy thinking in the early mornings. I don’t believe in using big words or complicated marketing talk. I just tell people what I can do and then I do it. Most of my clients are people from the neighborhood or friends of friends. It’s a very local way of doing things, which I prefer. I’ve lived in Tamil Nadu my whole life, so I’m used to the way things work here. Sometimes the elevator in the building is out of order, so I end up taking the stairs a lot, but it keeps me moving. It’s just a regular life and a regular business. There’s always tea nearby and plenty of work to keep me occupied.
