Shiv Refractories

Our shop is located in Word No. 1, on Tarnetar Road. We are tucked in right behind the Patel Society. It can be a little tricky to find us if it's your first time, as the sign isn't very big. We work with refractory products here. That means we handle materials designed to withstand very high temperatures. Most of our days are spent in the workshop, surrounded by bricks and specialized clay. It’s a small team, just a handful of us who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we do, you just come into the back where we are working. We try to keep things simple. We don't have any big missions or slogans. We just make the stuff that people order and try to get it right the first time. The road out front can get a bit congested, especially during the festival seasons, but we manage. We’ve lived and worked in this area for most of our lives. We know the neighbors and the other local business owners. It’s a tight community. Sometimes we have to work late to finish a specific batch, but we don't mind much. It’s a living and it’s what we know how to do. We don't use any high-tech gadgets to run the place. Just a few reliable machines and our own hands. It’s dusty and hot, but it’s our trade.
