Ganesh Fabrication

Down at Plot No. 401/1 in Phase-3, you’ll find our workshop. Fabrication is messy work, so there is always some metal scrap or dust on the floor. We have the big welding machines and cutters lined up along the walls. The smell of burnt metal is pretty much always in the air here. It’s a noisy environment with the grinding and the hammering going on, but that’s just how a fabrication shop is. We don't have a proper office room, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the bills and the notebook for orders. Most of our time is spent on our feet on the shop floor. When it rains, the sound on the metal roof is so loud we can hardly hear each other speak. We have a small bunch of guys who know how to handle the torches and the benders. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty within five minutes of starting the shift. We usually have a water cooler near the entrance because it gets incredibly hot inside during the summer months. There is no fancy branding or signs, just the work being done on the tables. People from the neighborhood bring their stuff to us when they need something fixed or built from scratch. We usually keep some old newspapers around to wrap up the smaller finished parts.
