Umiya Metal

If you ever find yourself driving through Phase IV of the GIDC in Wadhwan City, you might pass by our spot at Plot no 2010. Umiya Metal is basically what you would expect from a workshop in Surendranagar. It is loud, there is always some kind of metal clanging happening, and the floors always have a bit of dust on them no matter how much we sweep. We have been operating out of this district for a while and we have seen the area change quite a bit as more sheds went up around us. It is a practical kind of place where we focus more on the machines than on how the office looks. Usually, the day starts early because the heat gets pretty intense by noon, especially when the machines have been running for a few hours straight. We are just a group of people who know how to handle metal and we do not really bother with big corporate talk or polished presentations. People around here know where we are if they need something done. Our address at Plot 2010 is easy enough to find if the GPS does not act up, though sometimes the truck drivers get confused with the phase numbers. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and hope the electricity does not cut out during a busy shift. It is a simple life here in the GIDC, just regular people doing regular industrial work day after day.
