Yogita Gas Service

Yogita Gas Service operates out of Udhna Cubbon Road 116/1. It is a busy little office because the phones never really stop ringing with people asking where their delivery is or trying to book a new cylinder. The space is mostly taken up by the big desk and stacks of ledgers and delivery slips. Outside, you will usually see the delivery vehicles being loaded up. It is heavy work, moving those metal tanks around all day, and the guys who do the lifting have a tough job in the Surat heat. The traffic on Cubbon Road can be a nightmare in the afternoons, which sometimes slows down the trucks getting back to the yard. We try to stay on top of the paperwork, but sometimes the system goes slow or there is a mix-up with an address. People come in personally too, especially if they are having trouble with their regulator or need to register a new connection. It is not a quiet place to work. There is always the sound of metal clanking or someone talking loudly over the noise of the street outside. We have been in this spot for a while, and most of the people in the neighborhood know where to find us. We just keep the records straight and make sure the deliveries keep moving out to the houses. It is a lot of logistics and handling the same questions every day, but it is what we do here.
