Vishnu Sarees & Garment Accessories

Our shop is G-3317 in the Surat Textile Market, right on the Ring Road. It is a massive building, and it took us a while to get used to the layout ourselves. We handle sarees but also a lot of the smaller things like garment accessories that people need to finish their outfits. The shop is often filled with boxes of different sizes because of all the small items we stock. It can look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we generally know where everything is. Being in the STM means we are surrounded by thousands of other businesses, so it is always loud. We spend our time counting out items and making sure the saree stock is handled carefully. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it by now. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that is usually our only break. We don't have a fancy entrance; you just walk in and see the shelves piled high. People come to us when they need specific matches for their clothes. We don't do much in terms of decoration. The products are the main thing you see. It is a practical shop for practical people. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There isn't much to say other than we work hard and try to stay organized in the middle of all the market chaos. It's just how we run the business every day.
