Shraddha

We call our place Shraddha, and you can find us right opposite Mamaiya Bhuvan on Varachha Road. It’s a very simple shop, and we don't have a huge sign or anything that grabs your eye from a mile away. Varachha Road is always loud and full of vehicles, so we are used to the constant sound of horns and engines. We deal with various items, mostly things that local families need for their homes or for small celebrations. The shop isn't very wide, but it goes back quite a way, and we’ve managed to fit a lot of stock in there over the years. We open up every morning around the same time and stay until the evening traffic starts to thin out a bit. There isn't much room for a lot of people to stand at once, so it gets cozy when it's busy. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy decorations. We just keep the place clean and make sure we have what people are looking for. Living and working on Varachha Road means you see the whole world go by. We've seen kids grow up and start coming in with their own children. It makes you feel like you are really part of the neighborhood. We just do our work, talk to the customers, and go home at the end of the day. It’s a steady life and we wouldn't change much about it.
