We’ve been working out of B-8 in the Textile Market godown area for quite some time now. If you know Ring Road, you know how it gets during the day. It’s loud and there are always trucks moving things in and out. Our space is basically a godown, so it’s full of stacks and boxes of sarees everywhere you look. It isn't a fancy showroom with big lights or anything like that. It’s just a practical place where we get the work done. Most days, we are just busy sorting through the new stock that comes in or getting orders ready to go out. The humidity can get a bit much in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. People usually find us by looking for the B-8 sign, though sometimes the traffic on Ring Road makes it a bit of a trek to get here. We spend a lot of our time just managing the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room because of how many sarees we have packed in here. There’s always someone drinking tea nearby or shouting about a delivery. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how the market is. We like being in the middle of it all even if it’s a bit dusty. It’s a real working space, and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't.
