Vinita Sarees

If you head up to the second floor of the Millennium Textile Market on Ring Road, you’ll find us at D-4150. That’s where Vinita Sarees has been set up for years. The market is always loud and crowded, especially with all the carts moving through the hallways, but we’re used to the noise by now. Our space is filled with stacks of sarees from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit overwhelming for someone who isn't used to it, but we can usually find what a customer wants pretty quickly. We spend most of our day unfolding fabrics and then trying to fold them back up just as neatly, which is harder than it looks. The Ring Road area is always jammed with traffic, so getting here can take a minute, but the market is where all the action is. We don't bother with fancy displays or bright lights. We just keep our head down and focus on the stock we have. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is bad, but usually, there is someone poking around the shelves. We've seen the market change a lot over the years but our little corner at D-4150 stays pretty much the same. It’s a busy life but we wouldn't know what else to do. We just keep the shop open and wait for the next person to walk in.
