Vidya Anup Marfatia is based over in Matharu Market in the Maloya area, L11. We are right on Dumas Road. It’s a very busy market and there’s always something happening right outside our door. We deal with a lot of different people coming in and out throughout the day. Our space here is practical and we’ve set it up to handle our daily work without much fuss. It’s not a fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. We have our desks, our files, and a lot of tea that we drink to stay focused. The market noise can be quite loud in the afternoons when the shops are all open. We know most of the people who work in the neighboring units. It’s the kind of place where you say hello to the tea seller and the other shop owners every morning. We focus on getting our tasks done and making sure everything is in order. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit and we just wait it out or use the backup. Working in Maloya L11 means we are right in the middle of the local trade. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen the market change. The address is easy to find once you get into the Matharu Market area. It’s just a regular local business where we put in our hours and go home. We don't spend much on decorating because we are too busy working.
