Vaishali Fashions

We run Vaishali Fashions at Metro Tower, shop 102, right on Ring Road. It’s a busy building with a lot of movement. Our shop is on the lower level, which makes it easy for people to duck in while they are walking the Ring Road. We’ve got racks and racks of clothes here. It’s mostly about keeping up with what people are wearing this season. Ring Road is the heart of the textile trade in Surat, so there is never a dull moment outside our door. We spend a lot of time organizing the displays and making sure the sizes are sorted out properly. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when we get a big shipment in, but we manage. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us by walking past or hearing about us from a friend. It’s a straightforward way to do business. We open up early to get ahead of the heat and the crowds. Dealing with fashion means things change fast, so we are always swapping out old stock for something new. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to keep things tidy and helping folks find a good outfit. Metro Tower is a good spot for us, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the market life there. The tower is always buzzing with activity and it can be a bit over-whelming if you aren't used to it, but we like the energy. We're just here to sell clothes.
