Vaibhav Fashion

Our shop, Vaibhav Fashion, is over at E-1525 in the New Bombay Market in Umarwada. If you know Surat, you know how massive the New Bombay Market is. It’s a whole world of its own. We are one of the many shops in the 'E' section. It’s a tight space, but we make it work by stacking things all the way to the ceiling. We deal with all sorts of fashion wear and textiles. Most of our days are spent talking to traders and people looking for specific items for their own shops. It gets very crowded in the aisles, especially during the peak hours of the day. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure we don't lose track of our inventory in the middle of all the chaos. The market has its own energy, and it can be exhausting sometimes, but it’s where we belong. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors and the guys who deliver the tea. It’s a simple life. We wake up, open the shutters, and get to work. We don't put on any acts or try to seem bigger than we are. We are just a small part of the big textile scene here in Surat. It’s messy and loud and busy, but it’s our job and we do it every day without complaining. That is just how life is here.
