If you're driving along Ring Road, you’ll see us right across from the Amardeep Foundry. It’s a noisy area, but it’s where all the industrial stuff happens, so it suits us just fine. We handle machine tools. It’s basic stuff—lathes, cutters, and various bits of hardware that factories need to keep their lines moving. The shop is usually a bit of a clutter. We try to keep things organized, but when you have heavy iron tools and spare parts coming in, things tend to pile up. We don't really have a front office or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy with a customer. My brother and I have been running this for years. We learned the trade by doing it, not from a book. Some days the traffic on Ring Road is so bad we can hardly get the trucks in to unload, but that’s just life here. We don't try to compete with the big suppliers who have websites and sales teams. We just provide what’s needed to the guys working in the foundries and workshops nearby. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy crates. By the end of the day, we’re tired and covered in iron filings, but the work is steady. We like being in this part of town because everyone knows everyone else. It’s a community of people who actually make things.
