Gilitwala Machine Tools

Ring Road is always a mess with traffic, but it keeps Gilitwala Machine Tools right where people can see us. Our place at 14001 New Bamboo Bazaar isn't anything special to look at, just a regular shop filled with more machine tools than we probably have room for. We spend a lot of time organizing the shelves only for them to get messy again by noon. Being near Kurnel Road means we get all sorts of people coming through. It's mostly guys from the local workshops looking for something to keep their own machines running. We don't bother with fancy slogans or marketing stuff because we're usually too busy actually working. The bazaar has its own smell, a mix of old wood and grease, and you just stop noticing it after a while. We open up early because that's when the real work happens. Sometimes the tea guy is the only one we talk to for the first few hours. We aren't trying to be the biggest name on the Ring Road, just trying to keep the doors open and the customers satisfied with what they buy. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes we go home with aching backs, but that’s the nature of the tool business. We just take it day by day and try to keep things moving along without too much drama. It is a simple life and we enjoy the people we meet every day.
