Trupti Dresses

Trupti Dresses is based out of Udhana Yard. It is a pretty industrial area, so there is always something going on with trucks and moving goods. We've been here for quite some time now. The workspace is practical. We have our machines and our stocks all in one place. It’s not a fancy showroom, just a working space where the actual sewing and packing happens. Most of us live nearby, so the commute to Udhana isn't too bad unless the train crossing is blocked. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and fabrics. It gets hot in the summer, but we have some fans that keep the air moving while we work. We don't really do much advertising; most people find us because they know someone who knows us. It’s a simple way of doing things. We take pride in the dresses we make, even if we don't talk about it in a loud way. We just put them together, check the seams, and get them ready for whoever bought them. The yard can be dusty and loud, but that is the nature of the location. We like it here because it feels like everyone is working on something. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks. It’s just how things are at Trupti Dresses. Sometimes the coffee is cold and the days are long, but we just keep at it because that is what we do to keep things running.
