Tapti Valley International School

We’ve been here at Block No. 456-457 in Narthan for a while now. If you know the Rander-Dandi Road, you know it gets quite a bit of sun. We’re out in Taluka Olpad, so it’s a bit away from the main city noise, which is mostly a good thing for us. The school gates open early every morning when the buses start rolling in from all over. We spend a lot of our time making sure the classrooms are ready and the fans are working before the kids show up. It’s a large campus, so there’s always something that needs fixing or a corner that needs sweeping. The wind comes off the fields around Narthan and blows through the hallways. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty, but that’s just life out here. We have a lot of rooms and open spaces where the students spend their day. Most of us staff have been here long enough that we know every hallway and which taps leak. It isn't some fancy office building; it’s a school where people actually work and learn. You see the same faces every day, from the guards at the gate to the teachers in the staff room. We just keep things moving, trying to stay organized while the kids do their thing. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the blocks. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the school stays pretty much the same.
