Model Public School, Doraha

You’ll find Model Public School over in Kamrej, specifically at Block No 283. It’s an area that has been growing a lot lately, so we see new families moving in all the time. We are a simple public school serving this part of Surat. The building is nothing flashy, just some sturdy walls and classrooms where we fit in as many desks as we can. We have a small team of us who handle everything from teaching to fixing the furniture when it breaks. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when all the kids are arriving at once. We don't have a lot of extra money for decorations, so we just keep things functional. The focus is always on the schoolwork. We spend a lot of time making sure the students follow the rules and get their homework done. It can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, but that’s just part of working in a school. We know most of the parents by name because they live just down the road or in the next block over. It’s a very local feel here. We just show up, do the teaching, and go home. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to give the kids here a decent place to sit and learn their lessons. The school is located in Block No 283, and you can see it right from the street. We have a small gate that we lock every evening.
