Model Public School,Ratlam

Model Public School is located right opposite Kholvad College, near the Kamrej Char Rasta in Surat. Even though the name mentions Ratlam, we are firmly rooted here in the Kamrej area. Being near the Char Rasta means there is always a lot of activity outside our gates. You have the college students across the way and plenty of traffic moving through the intersection. The school itself is a busy place from early morning until the afternoon. We have students coming in from all the nearby neighborhoods, some on foot and some on the local buses. The building is a bit older, with some wear and tear on the stairs and in the hallways, but it’s sturdy. We have several classrooms filled with rows of wooden desks where the students do their daily work. The teachers are busy people who handle everything from grading papers to managing the kids during the breaks. We don't have any elaborate marketing materials or a polished front office. When you walk in, you’ll see the notice board with handwritten notes and the staff room where teachers are usually drinking tea between classes. It is a very practical environment. Families choose to send their children here because it is a convenient location and we have been around long enough for people to know who we are. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day-to-day job of running a school in a busy part of Surat. It is loud and hectic sometimes, but we get the work done.
